Book Review by John Switzer
by Barbara Cassada, Tome Publishing, 1998 This book provides a short and Biblical introduction to Freemasonry, with a focus on Christian healing from illnesses that have a root in the curses spoken by those participating in the rites of initiation in Freemasonry and related organizations. The oaths spoken by those involved in Freemasonry bind the speakers (and their families), bringing upon them curses that can manifest in various ways, such as cancer, miscarriages, and heart problems. In addition, the various degrees of Freemasonry bind its members in deception - they begin with concepts and beliefs that appear on the surface to be Christian, but which are actually are based on Satan's primary deception: that he is equal and even superior to God, and His Son Jesus Christ.
The main focus of the book is not an expose of Freemasonry, although enough of its history and methodology is given to demonstrate that the group is not what it appears to be on the surface. Rather, the major portion of this book is to help those bound by Freemasonry - and the Christian ministers who are helping them - to find spiritual freedom and physical healing in the name and blood of Christ. The book includes many prayers that can be used for this purpose, as well as additional references for further study.
A very good book for anyone involved in the prayer and healing ministries so that they can recognize the presence of Freemasonry in those they are serving.
